Women of Marvel, Rogue

The eighth of nine images for a trading card subset. So much fun to draw. And some of these I waited to draw last because I wub 'dem soooooooo much.

For each card we talked about who to draw and tried to tie them together with some sort of theme. We settled on character traits or titles that were part of that characters history. Rogue is "Brawler"....during her most famous of runs in the stories, she was a scrapper, a fighter, and when she had no control of her ability to absorb the powers/psyche of others, most often she fought as if she had nothing to lose. I really liked those moments in her history. Granted, way back then the narrative was a bit repetitive at times, especially in the 90's cartoon, because they had to CONSTANTLY remind you....but, still, I liked her best back then.
